>> the shooting has sparked protests, the one yesterday resulted in 43 arrests and vandalism. we will show you the damage and here with the community wants from the police department. [music] >> the man whose death as part of that outrageously he is, 19 year-old kenneth harding jr. a parolee from seattle. the police shot and killed him after they say he opened fire on them after invading a muni fair. tonight there was a community meeting in the bay view area it was planned by the police but it did not go according to plan. the chief of police showed up but he was shot down by the people that were shouting in the crowd, you would your part of the meeting field with a lot of anger the chief did stick around afterwards to answer questions that did not last very long either.

livermore and 85 in palo alto. temperatures of few degrees above average for this time of year into tomorrow. we will talk more about the warm weather and we will talk about cooler weather on tap in just a little bit. >> the increase in violence in the city of richmond to a disturbing turn today, a young man was gunned down in broad daylight this brings the number to 20 of how many homicides happened in richmond this year. stan joins us at the big board to look at the most recent attacks. >> these are connected to a feud going on in north richmond and those in central richmond. now we have one person killed here, and then last weekend a 400 block there were two people killed right here and of course today, right in front of the community center at fifth, we had one person killed in broad daylight.

residents described the community center in richmond as a safe haven for children in a troubled area. but the area outside of the center was not safe wednesday morning for 20 year-old darrell russell he was gunned down in broad daylight. >> right next to the community center there were kids outside, so it is very concerning the level of violence has increased. >> this is the eighth homicide in richmond this month and the police said they may be connected to a feud going on between gangs in north richmond and central richmond. >> the boldness of the shooting just tells us that we are not playing with people that are carrying about anyone in the community and they are out here and they will try to get anyone they can. >> for those who live in the city is beginning to be too much. >> yes, it is frightening, i am try to make my mind up right now about going back to kansas city missouri.

>> the 49ers and the raiders could get a new state-of-the-art stadium but there is a catch, they may have to share. each side is fiercely loyal to their preferred team, but a brand new two-tier stadium could pare the niners and the raiders under one roof. >> the san francisco 49ers and the oakland raiders are looking at stadium solutions together. they have been meeting to discuss the possibility of sharing a new football stadium. >> there definitely have been some discussions between the two organizations as partners in the bay area. there is no agreement in place for the teams to share the stadium at this point.

>> the 49ers and the raiders play and two of the oldest stadiums in the nfl. the city of oakland has been in talks with the city of oakland--with the oakland raiders about a two-tier stadium. meanwhile, the 49ers have a stadium in the works but it carries a huge price tag so it possible deal with the raiders could be the best money moves. >> there are lot of different hypothetical in different situations that could happen but as of right now, the plan is to move forward to build it here and who knows what the future were hold. >> location would be a key issue. the 49ers are to have plan to build a station near their headquarters here, they have already secured $150 million in suite revenue. but estimates to get the stadium built is close to $1 billion.

and >> tonight's big story a community meeting in bayview ended in chaos, the police have been trying unsuccessfully to explain the details about why a 19 year-old man was shot and killed over the weekend the san francisco police was shot down. he could not get any comments in, the police say there was a gang war or enrichment going on which

resulted in the death of a 20 year-old man. three people sell over a waterfall and their body has not yet been found. now it has been hot here but terrible around the country. this is like excessive heat. >> heat advisory and excessive heat warnings. it is so high there, but they did the humidity as well it is not dry heat. >> even tonight they still say it is in the '90s. >> yes and looked at all of that heat on the screen. he advisory's an excessive heat warnings. not only do they see the high temperatures, but they also did the humidity. the temperatures are reaching the 90's and low triple digits during the day. when you combine the humidity it felt like it is 105 to 120 degrees. this is the whole midwest. we would take a look at the current temperatures. a couple hours ahead of us here in places like oklahoma city and kansas city, the temperatures are still in the upper 80s there. down in

dallas, it is 90 degrees, 83 st. louis, and we are in the nighttime hours ago further east we still have a little bit of cooling left for the evening. to bridges are running 75 and 82 and is pretty warm out there right now. again, it will continue over the next several days all through the week with the high humidity in very warm temperatures. as for us these are very high day out there today, but we did not break any records. 95 degrees with our high temperature in concord, these were well below the records that were in the triple digits for today. the only place that really came close was hayward. now take a look at the extended forecast. it will be hot again tomorrow but will get the sea breeze back for friday and all through the weekend in which means much cooler weather. that will bring the marine air into the inland valleys the

temperatures cooling to low 80s. >> san jose police have a woman in custody who is suspected of trying to break into a home in kidnap a three year-old girl. you are looking at jasmine, she is now safe at home with her family. the police say all this happen on the 1200 block of park avenue around 9:00 p.m. monday night. we talked with the girls mother and sister who said they were able to fend off that woman. >> it was really scary. it >> of 14 year-old denise was with her three year-old sister here in the courtyard of their apartment complex when the police say that this woman myra flores approach to the toddler denise said she knew something was wrong when the woman tried to claim the three-year-old as her own. >> she said i'm going to take her and i might daughter some chocolate. i said no, that is my sister that is jasmine. >> that is when disney took

her sister to the apartment and then the suspect followed and confronted her mother at the door. >> my little sister was behind my mom and she tried to grab her. >> they say the woman pushed her mother and tried to grab the little girl. and she said that was her child and she would prove it. >> she said she would have a blood test to prove that that was her daughter and my mother stover. >> and the neighbors came to see what was going on the woman ran off and she was picked up by the police about one block away. denise said she is trying to put this whole thing behind her. >> i am as happy my sister is safe and i hope that lady never comes back again. >> myra flores has been convicted of kidnapping and because she tried to break into the house she is facing a burglary charge. a bay area man is accused of kidnapping a young girl and

tried to molest her. they said that he grabbed a child was playing hide and seek, he brought her to a secluded area in the parking pulled up the little girl's skirt, she was able to break away and get free. nobel for the man that was accused of sexually assaulting a teenager at a park, they said he groped the 14 year- old girl at the park july 40 the these are the police at the park, the girl was able to get away the suspect is an indian national who was visiting relatives nearby. two men have been arrested in connection to the burned body found in the rock ridge neighborhood this the scene from last week when the body was found. you are looking at a photograph of the victim, we have new details on the suspect. >> the oakland community was very outraged by the horrific crime against this woman, she was beaten and lit on fire. the community came together, they came forward and work hand in hand with our investigators
